  • DLP Policy Configuration & Management: Skilled in designing, implementing, and maintaining DLP policies using tools like Symantec, Microsoft Purview, or Forcepoint to prevent unauthorized data access or leakage.
  • Incident Response & Investigation: Ability to monitor, analyze, and respond to DLP alerts and privacy breaches, conducting root cause analysis and recommending remediation actions.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Risk Assessment: Strong understanding of data privacy laws and frameworks, with experience in conducting risk assessments and audits to ensure organizational compliance.

  • Cloud Security Knowledge: Familiarity with securing data in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and applying DLP controls across hybrid infrastructures.
  • SIEM & Threat Intelligence Integration: Experience integrating DLP tools with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to enhance visibility and incident correlation.
  • Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA): Ability to support or conduct PIAs to evaluate data handling practices and ensure alignment with privacy regulations.
  • Automation & Scripting: Basic proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to automate DLP tasks and customize rule sets.
