Senior Program Officer - Container Deposit Scheme
Details: The Senior Program Officer will manage the Network Operator and will report directly to the Assistant Director Container Deposit Scheme (CDS) Compliance. The Network Operator is responsible for managing and operating the physical infrastructure of the CDS such as container collection points, counting and verification, transport logistics and ensuring 10 cent refunds are paid for container redemptions.
You will require proven skills in stakeholder engagement, contract management, brief and report writing, analysis of complex information and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. Officers have a positive attitude and a commitment to continual learning and development.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in contract or project management is highly desirable.
Notes: This is a temporary position available from 7 October 2025 until 7 April 2026 with the possibility of permanency. A merit pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
