Overview
We’re seeking a Dulux Trade Business Development Manager who is highly motivated and enthusiastic about hunting for new business and growing inactive trade accounts. In this role, you'll proactively pursue new opportunities, engaging daily with trade painters in person and by phone to generate sales leads and drive customer success. This role will manage the entire State of South Australia.
In addition, you’ll assess trade painters' activities to uncover sales potential, evaluate the scope of work, and convert these opportunities to Dulux. As part of our team, you'll benefit from the ownership and support necessary to excel, with dedicated backing from both your leaders and colleagues.

Responsibilities
- Drive new business development by tailoring Dulux’s value propositions for profitable growth
- Engage daily with trade painters in person and over the phone to generate sales opportunities and enhance their success
- Communicate trade painter activities regularly with local trade and inspiration stores
- Understand key business drivers for trade painters, including estimating, quoting, cost management, productivity, and marketing
- Build and maintain business-to-business relationships with individual accounts

Skills & Experience
- Proven skills in new business development and account management
- Track record of achieving sustained sales growth and financial success
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at various levels
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Motivated and focused on achieving results; trade/sales experience is a plus
