Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Rostering and Wellbeing Managers to join the Northern Doctors Services department.

About Northern Health:

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.

Services are provided through our five main campuses:

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.

About the Role:

This role requires and experienced leader to manage the Rostering and Wellbeing team at Northern Doctors Workforce.

This role is responsible for the:

- Day to day rostering operations of Junior Medical workforce.
- Oversight of JMS Allocation Plans.
- Accurate rostering of Medical Staff, Roster-On management, approval of roster reviews and changes, communication of changes to all relevant parties in a timely manner.
- Wellbeing - checks in on JMS involved in clinical incidents and follows up on JMS in difficulty or on prolonged sick leave.
- Medical Staff leave management and backfilling sick calls/vacancies.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Experience and good working knowledge of rostering andmedical workforce issues in large tertiary hospital environment
- Proven ability tomanage change amongst various stakeholders
- Demonstrated high level of attention to detail
- Well-developed verbal and written communication
