In this varied role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling pipework and irrigation equipment – both in our workshop and on client sites.**Responsibilities:**As a **Fabrication and Installation Technician**, you will:* Read and interpret technical drawings/ blueprints of irrigation systems* Perform welding on various metals and materials for the fabrication and repair of irrigation system components (e.g., pipes, fittings, supports, valves, etc.)* Collaborate with project teams to assemble and install irrigation equipment and systems* Maintain welding equipment, tools, and materials in good working order* Welding components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment**About you:**To succeed at Sunfam, you have:* Demonstrated knowledge of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG and Stick* Ability to read and interpret a variety of blueprints* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety* Effective communication skills with the ability to work as a team* Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle* MR or HR licence an advantage* Forklift Licence an advantage**About Sunfam and Elders** Sunfam, part of the Elders Group, is proud to be part of the last Australian-listed major agribusiness.
