About us

Cooltech (Qld) Pty Ltd is a well-established Bundaberg-based company that started in 2007.

We have a large scope of works including, but not limited to, supply, install, service and repair of commercial refrigeration and commercial and domestic air conditioning systems, including supermarkets, clubs and tourism sites.

With a team of 26, including our Estimator, Operations Manager and administration staff, we have a personal, face-to-face and hands-on approach to our services.

The opportunity

Due to our ongoing growth and service contracts, we're looking for a trade qualified Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician to join us on a full-time basis. We carry out all types of work in the Bundaberg area and surrounds.

Requirements

  • Unrestricted Australian working rights
  • Current valid Australian drivers licence
  • Current White Card, ARCtick, and Trade Licence
  • Ability to work some overtime or be on the on-call roster system
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and unplanned service, maintenance, and commissioning of all types of systems
  • Conduct HVAC and refrigeration service and preventative maintenance
  • HVAC and refrigeration installation works
  • Fault diagnosis and solutions
  • Breakdown repairs
  • Foster and maintain a professional working relationship among technicians and apprentices
  • Maintain adherence to all safety, company and statutory policies and procedures
