Macadamia Farm Management (MFM) is a leading orchard management company in the Bundaberg Region, and we're looking for a reliable and hardworking Irrigation Technician to join our team.

About the Role

As an Irrigation Technician, you'll work across multiple farm locations to help install, maintain, and monitor irrigation systems. You'll be hands-on in the field, supporting efficient water use and healthy orchards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems across all farm locations
  • Monitor water usage and check soil moisture levels
  • Troubleshoot and repair irrigation equipment
  • Carry out regular checks and preventative maintenance
  • Keep accurate records of work completed and escalate issues as needed
  • Work in accordance with safe work procedures

What We're Looking For

  • Certificate level qualifications in related field or 3 years equivalent work experience
  • Strong interest in farm irrigation and desire to build career in this industry
  • Ability to work well with a variety of stakeholders across MFM
  • Willingness to learn and work outdoors in all weather
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
  • Current driver's licence
