Working in our Cooling division, you will be responsible for our range of aftermarket automotive AC parts, refining, supporting and promoting our current range, while sourcing/developing new products to meet the future needs of our customers.Ideally, you will have a trade qualification or extensive experience within the automotive industry, and are looking for an opportunity to further your career away from the tools.**Responsibilities:*** Determining customer requirements and identifying opportunities for improvement within our current product offering* Working with suppliers to develop new products and negotiate improvements to key business metrics* Managing the product lifecycle from inception through to end of life including the implementation of effective stock clearance strategies* Working collaboratively with other departments and engaging stakeholders to ensure new products are delivered efficiently and effectively* Conducting product tests, producing training material, and providing ongoing technical support to the store network and customer base* Identifying shifts in the market and developing a strong understanding of the competitive landscape including product ranges and pricing* Maintaining product master data across our enterprise software, catalogue system, and public websites* Analysing data to identify trends/issues and to report on category performance* Contributing to the team’s overall success in achieving annual KPI targets**Skills & Experience:*** Trade qualification or extensive experience in the aftermarket automotive AC industry* Sound understanding of engine cooling system and components* The ability to think like a customer and translate that into effective product strategies* The ability to review technical drawings and product samples and determine the suitability of new products* Driven and highly organised mindset with an excellent attention to detail* Strong communication and negotiation skills* Proficient with Microsoft Excel**Looking after you:** We are committed to ensuring our people are well looked after.
