About the Role

As the Warranty Team Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring efficient handling of warranty claims across all regions. You'll oversee compliance with regulatory and company policies while maintaining our high standards of service.
Your key responsibilities will include:

- **Leadership & Oversight:**
- Provide strategic leadership to the National Warranty Team.
- Manage equitable distribution of warranty claims and ensure adherence to timelines.
- Act as the escalation point for complex or high-stakes claims.
- Directly manage a team of 4, ensuring clarity of objectives, team alignment, and performance excellence.

- **Warranty Claims Management:**
- Oversee nationwide warranty claims, ensuring thorough investigation and resolution.
- Liaise with builders, trades, and stakeholders to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.
- Prepare detailed defect lists and comprehensive reports to support claim outcomes.

- **Stakeholder Engagement:**
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, insurers, and partner trade network.
- Actively communicate with all parties to uphold the company's reputation.

- **Reporting & Analysis:**
- Deliver insights on warranty claim trends and recurring issues to senior management.
- Support the development of improved warranty-related processes.

About You

You'll bring expertise, leadership, and a solutions-driven mindset to this role, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You are a natural leader and an exceptional communicator, skilled at managing stakeholders across various levels.

**What we're looking for:**

- Completion of relevant education

- Extensive trade and building background

- Experience (10+ years) in the building and/or insurance industry

- An understanding of statutory building regulations & requirements

- Previous experience working with and implementing quality assurance systems to Australian Codes, Standards & Tolerances.

- Extensive knowledge of domestic and commercial building processes, compliance requirements, and industry standards.

- Strong understanding of the nuances of insurance building, with experience managing complex claims.

- Proven leadership experience, motivating and guiding teams to success.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex claims and deliver solutions.
