Overview

Acclaimed Workforce are seeking a horticulturalist to work for a Council in the northern suburbs. This position involves outdoor, physical work and would best suit applicants who are fit and in good health.

This is a temporary role and applicants will need to be available to start immediately.

Responsibilities

- Truck driving
- Mulching, Pruning, Hedging, Planting and Hand weeding
- BBQ Cleaning
- Litter removal
- Whipper snipping, Hand mowing, Blowing paths
- Irrigation repairs

Requirements

- Be physically fit and healthy, with ability to carry out heavy lifting
- Certificate III in Horticulture with knowledge and experience including Plant ID
- Light Reach License (LR) or Medium Rigid (MR) License preferred
- Hold a current White Card
- Chemical Certificate tickets are highly desirable (to be able to spray)
- Possess a safety-first attitude and always follow strict safety procedures
- Must currently reside in Australia to be considered
