Weed Spray Operator

Due to the continued growth and expansion of our service offerings within South Australia, Urbanvirons Group Pty Ltd (Urbans) is looking to engage full-time, part-time, or casual weed and pest sprayer or Trainees to join our Arboriculture division in Kilburn. We provide services to State & Local Government, High Profile Grounds & Facilities, Residential Housing, and Commercial Clients.

We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking candidates for the position of Weed Spray Operator to join our dynamic and professional team.

The Role

Undertake general weed control including kerb line, footpath, cycle paths, and median spraying, broad acre spraying, and spraying of firebreaks, along with general maintenance tasks as required.

Desirable

  • Practical experience in weed spraying applications
  • Knowledge and experience in selection, mixing, and use of Herbicides and spray additives.
  • Current and Valid Driver's licence
  • Chemical License/Spray Ticket (or be willing to obtain prior)
  • Pest Control License (or be willing to obtain prior)
  • White Card (or be willing to obtain)

Highly favourable

  • Cert III in Horticulture (or similar)
  • MR Truck Licence
  • WZTM (or be willing to obtain)
