Experienced Horticulturalist for casual role with National Not-for-Profit

**Your new company**
Our client is a national not-for-profit dedicated to restoring Australia’s landscapes, locally and regionally. As the weather starts to cool down enough to plant, they’ll be seeking experienced horticulturalists or landscapers for this year’s revegetation season.

**Your new role**
You’ll be part of a small team heading out to different projects daily. Your role will include the planting and care of new natives, brush cutting, seed collection, maintenance of tools and equipment, hand-weeding and supervised spraying. This is a casual role, typically offering 3-4 days of work.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Cert III Horticulture or equivalent course
- Landscaping/Grounds/Bush Regeneration experience
- Ability to operate brushcutters and similar machinery

The below are desirable, but not essential, for success:

- Driver’s licence and reliable car
- 4WD experience
- Workzone Traffic Management Ticket
- Chainsaw certificate of competency (TAFE Level 2 or equivalent)
- Knowledge of plant and pest identification
- Knowledge of seed collection and cleaning techniques
