Full Description: 

Acclaimed Workforce are seeking a horticulturalist to work for a Council in the northern suburbs. This position involves outdoor, physical work and would best suit applicants who are fit and in good health. 

This is a temporary role and applicants will need to be available to start immediately. 

The role includes undertaking general park/garden bed maintenance and aspects of the following: 

  • Truck driving
  • Mulching, Pruning, Hedging, Planting and Hand weeding
  • BBQ Cleaning
  • Litter removal
  • Whipper snipping, Hand mowing, Blowing paths
  • Irrigation repairs

To be considered, you must: 

  • Be physically fit and healthy, with ability to carry out heavy lifting
  • Certificate III in Horticulture with knowledge and experience including Plant ID
  • Light Reach License (LR) or Medium Rigid (MR) License preferred
  • Hold a current White Card
  • Chemical Certificate tickets are highly desirable (to be able to spray)
  • Possess a safety-first attitude and always follow strict safety procedures
  • Must currently reside in Australia to be considered
