About theRole

As an Investigator– Safeguarding & Assurance, you’ll play a vital role in upholding the rights, safety, and wellbeing of our clients, residents, and supported employees. This is a role where your analytical skills, integrity, and compassion come together to create meaningful change.

- Investigations with impact –Lead objective investigations into NDIS reportable incidents and otherserious matters, ensuring compliance with legislation and Sunnyfield’spolicies.
- Root cause analysis – Identifyrisks, uncover systemic issues, and recommend practical improvements that strengthen safeguards.
- Education & empowerment –Deliver training to staff and run information sessions for clients,building awareness and confidence around safety and wellbeing.
- Collaboration for change – Workclosely with colleagues across Safeguarding, Disability Services, andEmployment Services to drive quality improvements and better outcomes forthe people we support.

YourExperience

- Minimum 3 years’ experienceconducting complex investigations (e.g. reportable conduct, reportableincidents, criminal, child protection, or workplace).
- Experience working with, orinvestigating matters relating to, vulnerable cohorts including peoplewith disability and children.
- Knowledge of the reportableincident and reportable conduct schemes, or the ability to quickly acquirethis knowledge.

- Ex-police investigators ideallywith additional non-policing experience post-service.
- Regulatory investigators withexperience in reportable conduct or reportable incidents.
- Child protection caseworkerswith JCPRP experience.
