
Assurance & Compliant Specialist

Manage contract compliance and assurance program to ensure performance meets all contractual, KPI, and legislative obligations. You will be critical in overseeing audit and monitoring frameworks, advising on compliance trends, and driving continuous improvement in service delivery and supplier governance.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement a contract assurance framework to monitor and enforce compliance with the Whole of Government contract and its specific KPIs
- Design and lead robust audit programs, including scheduled inspections, targeted audits, and deep‑dive investigations into high‑risk or underperforming areas
- Establish and lead risk‑based monitoring processes to detect, assess, and escape modern slavery and ethical sourcing risks within the cleaning service supply chains and subcontractor arrangements
- Create procedures for the collection, verification, and analysis of performance data, including site inspection records and KPI trend analysis. You will advise senior management on compliance trends, systemic risks, and recommend improvements
- Lead team management, coaching, and professional development initiatives to build a high‑performance, customer‑centric team culture
- Maintain accurate, auditable records of all assurance activities in line with contractual and legislative requirements
Key Requirements
- Success in this role requires a strategic mind capable of balancing operational demands with long‑term risk management
- Embedding a practical, consistent assurance framework across diverse facilities and contractors while meeting specific Whole‑of‑Government requirements
- Balancing operational responsiveness with the long‑term risk management required for modern slavery compliance, evolving legislative obligations, and industry best practice
- Maintaining strong stakeholder engagement and effectively using large volumes of performance data to identify systemic risks, enforce contractual obligations, and drive service improvements
