**Regional Manager - Sentence Management Operations**

**Salary**:116,211 to $ 128,061 + Superannuation + Annual Leave Loading.

**Position Type**: Ongoing - Full time Role

**Location**: Northern Region - other opportunities may exist in the Metropolitan and Southern and Western Regions in the future - a talent pool may be created for these roles.

**About Us**

Sentence Management Operations is responsible for ensuring that all offenders are detained and released in accordance with the orders of NSW Courts, Authorities and Tribunals and the associated legislation. The accurate recording and maintenance of offender sentencing and remand information is essential for use by both internal and external stakeholders.

**About the role**:
This management role covers the Northern Region Correctional Centres and oversees the Sentence Management Operations staff within the region. The role is responsible for the oversight and management of high quality, professional services delivery within budget and resource allocations. Additionally, the role will undertake Policy, Compliance and Project related responsibilities in consultation with the State Manager and Director.

The position is required to be on call, outside of normal working hours, the appropriate allowances are paid.

**Essential Requirements**
- Ability to provide expert and timely advice, information and reports on matters relating to the services and operations of Sentence Management operations within the Region.
- Extensive experience in leading relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Corrective Services is well represented and be able to resolve any conflicts effectively
- Extensive experience in the NSW criminal justice system and a broad knowledge of the workings of criminal justice systems in other States and the Commonwealth
- Willingness to travel throughout NSW
