We have a network of 27 retail stores across metro and regional locations in QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC, SA and WA. Our operations also include warehousing, and commercial sales, engineering (development) and call centre. Our business is fast paced, constantly changing, growing, and evolving.

We are on the hunt for a Permanent Full-time Regional Manager to join our retail team in Newcastle.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem solving with excellent organisational skills and a passion for sales.

What would be your key responsibilities?

The Regional Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing all the stores, staffing, and managing performance within NSW region.

  • Working with the Sales managers and National management team to effectively prepare for seasonal peaks and troughs, ensuring maximum productivity throughout.
  • Identifying local business opportunities to attract new customers to the store, expand store traffic, and enhance profitability.
  • Submitting plans and proposals for your region to support growth and profitability.
  • Driving operational standards and excellence within your region.
  • Providing weekly coaching and mentoring with your managers at all levels.
  • Overseeing staffing movements, recruitment, and onboarding programs for all staff within the region.
  • Managing claims compliance, hygiene, and standards across the region.
  • Implementing WHS policies and directives to protect staff health and safety in the workplace.
  • Effectively managing WHS by monitoring work practices and methods, consult with staff through toolbox talks, housekeeping inspections etc.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within Outdoor, Lifestyle or Retail is desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Sales and Performance analytics.
