**The Opportunity**

The Information Technology department contributes to this vision by transforming Melton City Council service delivery to achieve operational excellence, build community trust and enhance citizen experience when engaging with council services.

As the Service Desk Officer, you will provide efficient and effective IT support to staff, Councillors and services providers while providing excellent customer experience.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Engage and collaborate with end-users and customers in providing a great experience meeting or exceeding customer expectations, managing complaints and service support issues.
- Resolve incidents relating to the use of IT services promptly to minimise the impact on staff and the business.
- Escalate service requests and incidents to the appropriate internal and external IT specialists as per IT procedures.

**About you**

**_ To be successful in this role you will have the following:_**
- Tertiary Qualification with little experience, alternately no Degree or Diploma but with lesser formal qualifications with relevant work experience in Information Technology service delivery.
- Understand user account management within Microsoft Active Directory.
- Current valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
