Workforce Planning and Rostering Coordinator

About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to oversee the Patient Support Services' Allocations team, ensuring effective rostering and payroll functions to support the Department's 24/7 operational commitments.
About you
- Strategic Leadership and Team Management: Provide executive oversight for the Allocations and Roster Support Office (RSO) teams, ensuring excellence in roster support, payroll functions, staff coverage, and leave management. Foster a high-performance culture aligned with organisational goals and values.
- Compliance and System Enhancement: Ensure compliance with IWFM workflows and drive continuous system improvements. Resolve complex IWFM-related issues and implement technological advancements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Governance and Audit Oversight: Establish rigorous governance and audit frameworks to guarantee payroll accuracy and optimal cost centre utilisation. Conduct regular data audits to ensure compliance and address discrepancies.
- Reporting and Financial Management: Prepare detailed fortnightly and monthly reports on payroll, staffing, administrative matters, and budget performance. Provide strategic budget analysis and recommendations to enhance financial performance and resource allocation.
- Professional Standards and Change Management: Promote professional competence, accountability, and ethical behaviour. Lead change management initiatives to improve service delivery and implement strategies for smooth operational transitions.
- Rostering Expertise and Advisory: Provide expert guidance on rostering practices, process roster changes efficiently, and manage fortnightly rostering requirements. Offer strategic advice to line managers to optimise workforce planning.
