**About the role**
This is a **permanent**, **full-time**, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm position working **35 hours** per week. Located at the **Shoalhaven Memorial Gardens**.

The advertised salary is based on the grade of the position, comprising of 4 steps within the range shown. The starting salary is at Step 1 within the grade. Progression through the salary steps shall be based upon the achievement of performance objectives relating to the position.

**Duties**
Reporting directly to the Manager
- Bereavement Services, the focus of this position is to:

- Update the asset management system through developing and carrying out asset inspections including GIS mapping data for Bereavement Services assets.
- Ensure asset data meets operational, managerial and legislative requirements.
- Maintain and update the Bereavement Services Asset Management Plan.
- Oversee and implement projects as part of the 10 Year Capital Program.
- Provide accurate asset data quantity, location, age, condition and defects to enable development of annual and long-term programs and funding needs identification.
- Assist Bereavement Services Manager to develop budgets for and implement maintenance, improvement and capital programs and projects for a range of programs to ensure existing assets are fit for purpose, in accordance with best-practice asset management principles.
- Plan and coordinate relevant technical investigation, development of concept options and estimates for proposed works to assets.

**Skills & Experience**
In order to be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:

- Post Trade Certification or similar in GIS, building, maintenance, asset management, or experience deemed to be equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in computer Database Administration or Geographic Information Systems.
- Experience in development of concept options and estimates for proposed works to build or upgrade assets.
- Experience in the development and implementation of maintenance, enhancement and capital programs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines.
- Demonstrated high level of competence and experience in asset management and project delivery.
- Understanding of relevant Australian Standards
- Class C Driver’s Licence
- Proof of right to work in Australia
