Business Improvement Manager Market Operations

CommBank's Market Operations (MO) business is looking for a Business Improvement Manager to join our function and contribute to achieving operational excellence. The Markets Operations team is accountable for overall operations, as well as enablement functions, within Market Operations. The service provided by this team is critical to success of the organisation and our Institutional and Business Bank Business Units.

**The Role.**
As a Business Improvement Manager, you will support Senior Leaders to drive and deliver the MO vision, designed to create experiences our customers will benefit from. You will build and maintain strong and sustainable working relationships with Stakeholders of all levels across BIMO and directly get involved and contribute to the BIMO Leadership Team agenda, through the effective management and delivery of key initiatives, as we drive our strategy to develop into a world class Operations function

You will identify, develop and manage strategic initiatives for growth and operational improvement across the BIMO business unit. This will include effective management of the delivery of activities across the business by collaborating across teams, functions and businesses to improve the productivity across the business.

Ideally, you will utilise and leverage your Global Markets or Market Operations product knowledge or existing relationships with our other supporting partner teams to better influence process change and deliver focus areas using data, reporting and insights to enhance Senior BIMO leader decision making.

**On any given day you will**:

- Use of our strategic goal setting framework and established OKR's across MO to ensure we deliver on objectives.
- Manage delivery of activities where co-ordination is required across Market Operations, including the improvement and tracking of productivity.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to develop a consolidated set of metrics to report overall MO performance and ensure they meet Client/Internal Client/Business stakeholder expectations.
- Liaise with our key stakeholders and drive transformational activities and special projects relevant to MO.
- Facilitate the relationship between business and risk teams to support accurate and appropriate decisions being made on evolving solutions on a day-to-day basis.
- Develop and maintain new reporting functionality to support the visualisation of Market Operations risk.
- Utilise your advanced stakeholder management skills, and ensure the appropriate approach to engage effectively to drive outcomes.
