CommBank's Market Operations (MO) unit seeks a skilled Business Improvement Manager to help drive operational excellence. The team is responsible for overall operations and support functions, playing a crucial role in the success of the organization and our business units.

Key Responsibilities.
As the Business Improvement Manager, you will collaborate with Senior Leaders to execute the MO vision, aimed at enhancing customer experiences. Your role involves building strong relationships with stakeholders, contributing to the agenda, managing key initiatives, and aligning with the strategic objectives to elevate our operations to world-class standards.

Your focus will be on identifying and managing growth initiatives and operational enhancements for the business unit. This includes coordinating activities, fostering cross-team collaboration, and driving productivity improvements.

Ideally, you will leverage your product knowledge and relationships to drive process improvements, relying on data insights to support decision-making by Senior Leaders.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Utilize strategic goal setting and OKRs to ensure goal achievement across MO.
  • Manage and track activities within Market Operations to enhance productivity.
  • Work with key stakeholders to establish performance metrics and meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Lead transformative projects and engage with risk teams to ensure informed decisions.
  • Develop reporting tools for Market Operations risk visualization.
  • Engage stakeholders effectively and drive outcomes using advanced management skills.
