**Your new company**
This Federal Government agency is responsible for delivering high-quality financial services across Australia. Due to recent growth, they are seeking a Project Coordinator to join their national team. Known for their innovative approach and commitment to excellence, with a strong focus on employee development and growth, an initial assignment length of 12 months is being offered with the possibility of extension.
**Your new role**
As Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of various projects. You will be responsible for coordinating project tasks, including assisting with the development of project documentation deliverables, tracking the status of project tasks from other project team members, and documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating review and approval processes for technical artefacts with relevant stakeholders, coordinating project procurement and recruitment processes with the Finance team, and coordinating business engagement and input with the impacted Business areas. You will also undertake project tasks as required.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you must be an Australia Citizen and will demonstrate:
- Demonstrated experience across the public sector within project governance, risk or assurance
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products including MS Project
- A desire to lead change and a passion for supporting others through transformation
- The ability to work well in a team environment
In addition, you will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. You will also have a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
