**About the role**

We have an opportunity for a Youth Triage Officer to join our Youth Wellbeing and Accommodation team on a permanent part time basis working 45.6 hours per fortnight. The role will be based at either our Cannington, Ord Street or Mirrabooka locations.

This role will provide a comprehensive referral and intake process to young people and their families, attend networking events, maintain record keeping systems, conduct initial screening assessments and develop relationships with stakeholders within the community.

**About you**

You’ll have a passion for supporting young people and their families while also having:

- Extensive experience in the not-for-profit sector or a Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Youth Work, Social Work or similar
- Prior experience working with young people and their families
- Strong knowledge of assessment practices
- Experience in counselling, intervention techniques and service models
- The ability to problem solve and time manage effectively
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Driver’s Licence
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
