Overview:
The Humanscale Representative is responsible for sales growth and market development of the defined region, strategic sales leadership, and support for the ANZ Territory Manager. Humanscale offers our Sales Team the opportunity to leverage existing and build new relationships within the Dealer Network and greater community. Our award-winning products change the way people think about work - Humanscale focuses on innovation, sustainability, and great design, allowing our Team Members to promote premier products that improve human health, comfort, and wellbeing.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop business with Humanscale dealers, direct to customers and Architects and Designers in WA and SA.
- Promote sales of the Company’s products within your region including liaising with the Company’s Distributors, Resellers, end-users, and other individuals representing the Company in the Territory to promote these products.
- Complete sales activity and opportunity reports as well as maintaining CRM database.
- Effectively work with Humanscale internal stakeholders across multiple functions including Operations and Customer Services.
- Contribute to business planning by positioning products as a part of the overall ergonomic solution.
- Work with Executive Leadership Group, Managing Directors, local Sales Managers and International A&D and Brand Directors to develop and implement our sales strategy for the given territory with a clear set of objectives, goals, and actions.
- Maintain a strong understanding of all Humanscale products.
- Order, deliver, and install sample products to clients for trial and evaluation. Ensuring outbound samples recorded for follow up and retrieval.
- Build brand and product awareness within the design community.
- Profile all target A&D firms and prepare and execute an Account Development Plan (Business Plan) for each, with a clear set of sales objectives and goals.
- Maintain and nurture relationships within the target firms at all levels.
- Train and educate designers on ergonomic workplace solutions for their projects.
- Present educational talks to A&D firms to ensure we are top of mind, i.e. sustainability.
- Utilize resources, i.e., design resources and team resources; CEO, CSO, Product Managers.
- Identify, qualify, and record on CRM all project activity at the A&D firms early in the design process.
- Communicate project activity in team strategy sessions to ensure appropriate design firm actions.
- Drive product specifications through A&D firms and manage until the order is secured.
- Attend and coordinate industry events and seminars to build the Humanscale brand.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events to build the Humanscale brand and entertain A&D clients - in line with the marketing plan and budgets.
Qualifications:
- Degree or related experience in interior design or furniture.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build great relationships.
- Strong and dynamic presentation skills.
- Positive, solutions-based perspective.
- 5+ years previous sales experience (3+ years A&D-focused selling preferred).
- Proven track record with successful revenue results - routinely meeting and exceeding goals.
- Carry individual and team goal for assigned territory (individual contribution $1.5m USD).
- Above & Beyond: consistently participate in industry associations, networking events, thought leadership groups, and internal initiatives, i.e. A&D training program and sustainability ambassador program.
