**About the position**:
In this diverse role, you will provide a broad range of HR operational and administrative services, working closely with the school’s Executive team and within a supportive and innovative school environment.
This is a great opportunity to further develop Human Resource Management within the school through reliable provision of, and continuous improvement of, the key responsibilities which include:

- Coordination of End-to-end Recruitment campaigns and staff induction.
- Preparation of Employment letters and documentation.
- Administration of Position Descriptions.
- Contribution to workforce planning.
- Contribution to staff wellbeing initiatives and staff training.
- Management of Workcover and Return to Work administration.
- Various statutory and regulatory compliance.
- HR related projects, policy and procedure development and implementation, and records management.

You have flexible approach to work, and are resilient in the face of deadlines and changing priorities. Being highly organised, you are self-directed in managing your priorities and keen to provide effective HR support. You are approachable, discrete and empathetic in addition to being efficient and solution focused. You enjoy a busy and varied role working autonomously as well as collaborating with others. You will always be an excellent professional role model for our students. You will deliver the best possible accounts support for The Knox School and the school community.

- Hold appropriate HR qualifications and experience (experience in a similar role in a school is desirable)
- Have a working knowledge of current HR/IR principles and practice and knowledge of applicable legislation, awards, etc.
- Display a supportive and respectful of, and build positive connections with all members of the school community and 3rd parties.
- Be professional, organised, collaborative and adaptable.
- Hold a current Working with Children Check clearance and a current National Police Check.
- Hold, or be prepared to obtain a current Level 2 First Aid Qualification, including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training. Training is provided by the school annually.
- Have sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Microsoft Teams (experience with School Administration System Synergetic and Learning Management system Schoolbox is desirable).
