Reporting directly to the HRD for the pacific region and partnering with operational leaders across several portfolios, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day delivery of all People & Culture practices within your area.

To be successful you will be a true P&C Generalist with strong employee relations, stakeholder engagement and communication.

Although a standalone position, looking after the Victorian operations, you will be part of a highly supportive global and local P&C team with COE and shared services based in Asia.


The role offers a flexible working environment in the southeastern suburbs, modern green offices and a high level of autonomy and trust.


The company has recently acquired another business within Victoria so this role will be working through the post-merger transition and integration as well as supporting current Victorian operations across all elements of HR.


Your accountabilities will be:

  • Overseeing and managing all People and culture programs in Victoria.
  • Supporting line leaders during Enterprise Agreement negotiations or employee relations matters.
  • Partnering with Leaders and functional managers to execute People & Culture strategy, initiatives, policies and procedures.
  • Developing, coordinating, and delivering training/development in support of company policy, process and improvement.
  • Managing for improved performance and organisational change.
About you

  • You will have a solutionsfocused approach, welldeveloped business acumen and deal with issues and change in a proactive, positive, and dynamic way.
  • You be comfortable working with a predominantly engineering and technical workforce.
  • You will have outstanding relationship building, strong consulting, negotiation and facilitation skills and the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.
  • You will be degree qualified in Business and/or Human Resources or similar. Minimum 5 years' experience in a HR role & 23 years' experience in Business Partnering role.


This role will also offer you the opportunity to be involved in change and integration activities and be part of global or localised projects.
