**About the role**:
We are looking for an experienced Business Accounts Consultant to join our high performing, collaborative team on a full-time permanent basis.

Reporting to the Business Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio to handle customer retention, whilst generating new business within the small to medium enterprise sectors. To succeed in this role, you should have a natural flair for building strong relationships and customer management.

**Duties**:

- Development and growth of new business through cold calling, warm lead response and face to face sales resulting in achievement of sales targets.
- Building and maintain strong relationships with internal customers (i.e., Billing and customer operations teams) and external customers (i.e., Business Customers and Industry Consultants)
- Strong customer service focus
- Various sales administration tasks

**Skills and experience**:

- Proven experience and track record of exceeding targets for both retention and new business development
- B2B experience in converting cold and warm leads via outbound tele-sales and face to face
- Experience with MS Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word (desirable to have Microsoft Dynamics 365 knowledge)
- A strong team player, self-starter, great communicator with a proactive approach
- Experience working in a professional and collaborating team environment

Whilst it’s advantageous to have gained your sales consultancy experience from an energy industry background, this is not essential. However, it is essential you can work well within in a team, are motivated and a confident self-starter.
