- What’s the job?
Are you passionate about enhancing digital learning experiences? As a Digital Learning Advisor, you’ll drive innovation and support for Torrens University’s digital learning ecosystems. You’ll ensure students and staff have seamless access to learning materials and technologies, maintain and update content, and collaborate on improving our digital platforms. Your role involves implementing updates, supporting new technologies, and contributing to the continuous enhancement of our digital learning environment.
- In this role, you will:
- You’ll maintain and update digital learning content, support and train users, and implement system improvements. Additionally, you'll contribute to innovative projects and manage course updates using HTML.- Enhance Academic and Student Experience: Ensure our Digital Learning Environment (DLE) is top-notch, driving content maintenance and updates to support retention and engagement.-
- Innovate and Improve: Collaborate with teams to push the boundaries of digital learning. Share best practices, drive innovations, and contribute to the design and redesign of our online learning spaces.-
- Support and Training: Work closely with staff to address training needs, improve engagement, and assist with the adoption of new technologies. Develop and update training materials to keep everyone ahead of the curve.-
- Maintain Excellence: Implement course updates, manage HTML coding, and ensure that the DLE functions flawlessly at all times. Provide feedback and resolve issues to continually enhance the learning portal.-
- Uphold Standards: Act in line with TGE’s Code of Conduct and ensure compliance with TEQSA/ASQA standards and other relevant legislative requirements.- This is a part time casual position with flexibility to work hybrid and from a campus near you.
- Who you are:
You’re a digital learning pro with experience in learning management systems and HTML coding. Known for excellent service delivery and innovative problem-solving, you thrive on enhancing digital environments and supporting users. Your strong communication skills and team spirit drive continuous improvement and collaboration.- Expert Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for presenting and explaining complex concepts clearly.-
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, along with a solid understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS).-
- Problem Solver: Adept at resolving issues with incomplete information, using critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.-
- Service Focused: Proven track record in service delivery and customer support, including experience with ticketing systems.-
- Adaptable Learner: Quick to grasp new technologies and tools, with a high level of computer skills and attention to detail.-
- Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to student success.- Your blend of technical knowledge, communication skills, and adaptability will make you a key asset in driving our digital learning initiatives forward.
