**About you**

The amazing People and Culture team at Total Tools are looking for a seasoned generalist to come onboard for a 12month maternity leave opportunity to enable the success of the National Support Office and Franchise Stores through support, guidance, programs and advice.

You will be responsible for supporting leaders in the support office around the people and culture cycle, key projects, policy, process and employment advice as well as providing support to our Franchise stores on compliance, policy, ER and all stages of the employee lifecycle.

- Support end to end employment life cycle (attracting, recruitment, induction, developing, performance managing and exiting) of Support Office Team.
- Support leaders with People & Culture Cycles including Performance Reviews, Talent, Remuneration.
- Support the engagement survey engagement survey and action planning process across the national support office.
- Develop the Employee Experience across NSO, with people plans to activate of engagement, culture, DEI initiatives.
- Liaise with Metcash around recruitment, ER transactional, Learning & Development and Compliance Activities
- Provide general support and advice to all day-to-day enquiries - including policy, procedure, award and grievances.
- Act as point of contact for those employees within the store network who have a workplace complaint (including but not limited to bullying and harassment) and assist in resolving these matters.
- Liaise with Total Tools Compliance team regarding Franchise Audits and audit findings
- Supporting store network to execute annual staff engagement survey and action planning
- Internal communications across all stores and National Support Office
- People Reporting - including coordinating internal monthly data and dashboard, data analysis + QBR packs, and exit interview data.
- Support and/or lead other People & Culture projects, tasks, and responsibilities as required

**You're Likely a Match If you have**
- Strong understanding of Franchising, NES and Modern Awards. GRIA experience highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience in independently managing employees relations end-to-end across a range of complex matters -including experience with inappropriate conduct, performance, absenteeism, and general grievance management,
- Exceptional stakeholder management, including the ability to build relationships with leaders of all levels (ranging form Executive to front line Managers), business owners, and general employees
- Ability to own and lead key projects and initiatives
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
