MLC is a member of Girl Sport Victoria (GSV) who facilitate interschool sporting competitions for their 24 member schools. Basketball is a Term 4 sport for Year 7 to 12 students and delivered into Junior (Year 7/8), Intermediate (Year 9/10) and Senior (Year 11/12) age groups.

We have opportunities available in our GSV Basketball program for enthusiastic and experienced coaches who wish to work with our highest graded teams. You will work closely with the GSV Sport Coordinator, to coach, mentor and contribute to the MLC’s Basketball program.
- Deliver quality coaching to our highest graded teams who will have a broad spectrum of skill level, ability, and experience.
- Plan, organise and manage safe training sessions to develop our Basketballers’ skills, fitness and performances.
- Possess the ability to develop, strengthen and improve our student athletes of all abilities to reach their full potential.

About You
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to student learning and wellbeing.
- Level 1 First Aid Certificate, including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management
- Current Working with Children Check
- Right to work in Australia
- Adherence to all College policies and demonstration of behaviours in accordance with the Child Safe Standards.
