**About the role**

We are looking for a Facilities Administrator to assist with the daily running and operation of the Jan Wilson Centre and other various halls, as required. They will be overseeing the daily running of the facilities to provide a positive and professional image of the council.

This position will be responsible forproviding high quality and efficient administrative support to the Jan Wilson Centre Programs and Civic and Community Facilities Business Unit which includes responding to enquiries, maintaining databases and booking systems, financial operations, promotions and customer service.

Flexibility to work at and/or provide coverage at other Civic and Community Facilities sites and approved overtime outside of normal hours and on weekends will be required.

**Selection of the most suitable applicant will be based on the following**:
**Essential**
- Relevant post-secondary qualifications (e.g. Certificate IV) in Venue management, Community Development, Customer Service, or equivalent relevant knowledge and skills gained on-the-job with the requirements of the role.
- Relevant knowledge and skills should include:

- Significant experience in a community setting delivering direct service and support to customers, through programs and events, setting up audio / visual, computer or sound system equipment per technical requirements of Civic and Community Facilities clients.
- Significant experience working within a small team environment contributing to key group as well as individual work goals using a variety of MS software and the full functions of facility booking systems e.g. Zipporah, for administrative/clerical responsibilities, including data entry of financials and reporting.
- Demonstrated availability to work flexibly across a wide range of days and hours, including overtime/TIL.
- Demonstrated well developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills in order to communicate effectively with people from a wide range of backgrounds and resolve minor problems.
- A current valid (and ongoing) Victorian Drivers Licence (with use of reliable private vehicle), Level 2 Workplace First Aid certificate, Working with Children Check, satisfactory physical functional capacity assessment and satisfactory (and ongoing) Police Check supplied prior to offer of employment and commencement.
