Motor Recoveries Consultant

**The Role**
We currently have multiple work from home opportunities available to join the IAG recoveries team based in Melbourne CBD (VIC), Mulgrave (VIC), and Parramatta (NSW). In this role you will be responsible for effectively managing and maximizing Recovery opportunities and pursue opportunities to drive cost containment that ensure a commercially beneficial outcome for the organization whilst balancing our legislative/compliance requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Effectively negotiating recovery opportunities through written and verbal representations on behalf of IAG; by engaging with relevant stakeholders to achieve commercial outcomes in line with KPI’s.
- Liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders including partnered organisations to ensure risk/exposure is mitigated and appropriate business and customer outcomes are achieved.
- Ensure adherence to external regulatory/legislative requirements in accordance with compliance to internal business rules and established ways of working.
- Ensure effective management of work allocation in accordance with set established Service Standards (SLA).
- Effectively manage resolution and customer management where points of contention and/or conflict arise.
- Ensuring we service and support the customer more broadly across Direct Claims where requirements of the business may evolve or change.

**Skills & Experience**
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Good communication skills and customer service experience
- Tech savvy with the ability to adapt to new computer systems
- Previous experience in Insurance is highly desirable
