**About the Role**

The Junior Software Consultant role plays a crucial role in the successful management and execution of implementation projects for our comprehensive suite of Business Solutions. This position is not only involved in the project lifecycle but also requires the ability to confidently demonstrate our software modules to potential and existing customers, showcasing their features and benefits effectively.

Throughout the implementation process, the consultant will assist in managing client relations, ensuring that communication remains clear and constructive. They will work closely with the Client Services team and clients during the planning, design, and delivery phases to guarantee that each stage is executed to a high standard. The ability to actively engage with customers is essential, as it fosters positive relationships and helps to achieve favourable outcomes that align with the client's expectations and business goals.

Collaboration is a key component of this role. The Junior Software Consultant will team up with the senior consultants and project managers to ensure that all tasks related to the implementation are carried out promptly and according to the agreed timelines. By maintaining a strong partnership with the support team, the consultant can address any challenges that may arise during the implementation process efficiently. Furthermore, the consultant will also organise and lead training sessions to ensure clients fully understand how to utilise the products effectively.

**Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities**
- Plan and configure systems to customers requirements via online or onsite workshops
- Assist with formal presentations to customers and prospective customers
- Gather and understand customer requirements
- Log bugs for resolution with the development team
- Respond to a range of queries from customers
- Provide training to customers as required
- Maintain and create documentation related to products (Training guides, videos etc).
- Assist in Project managing implementations to a high standard.
- Deliver proactive customer engagement, demonstrating and ensuring timely and thorough communication of deliverable status, schedules and results

**Key Skills and Experience**
- Bachelor or post graduate degree in information systems, project management or equivalent experience
- Possess a strong knowledge of IT principles and practices
- Ability to present and train in a group setting
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A problem solver with strong logical and analytical thinking
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritise timelines
- Aptitude for learning new software systems and processes
- Highly proficient Microsoft Office skills such as MS Word & MS Excel
- Willingness to undertake travel within Australia
- Class C Drivers licence

**Desirable**
- Experience in a project management, implementation, support or pre-sales role
- Knowledge in the areas of Talent & Workforce management would be advantageous.
