**Role**

Due to rapid growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Clinical professional to join our team in Auburn NSW. This newly created role will provide expertise, leadership and direction in Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) as well clinical matters. The successful applicant through their clinical expertise will ensure a safe, compliant and comfortable environment for all residents in Gallipoli Home.
- Provide strategic and operational leadership to deliver quality clinical solutions including IPC, compliance, quality improvement, clinical governance and risk management
- Use evidence-based clinical skills to prioritise the risk to residents and improve the quality of care in the Home.
- Provide advice in preventing, identifying, reporting, investigating, and controlling infections and communicable disease
- Capacity to lead, guide and coach the clinical care team whilst maintaining professionalism
- Ensure the clinical team provides a high-quality person-centered care to residents
- Manage and implement strategies to ensure compliance with accreditation and legislative requirements
- Oversee completion of quality auditing processes
- Analyse and report on Clinical Indicators including development of action plan to address areas for improvement

**About you**
- Current AHPRA registration and a minimum five year of post-registration nursing experience
- Clinical Team Leadership experience preferably within Aged Care
- Qualification/training in Infection Prevention Control
- Certificate IV in Frontline Management - highly desirable
- Strong understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
- Excellent clinical assessment skills and care planning capabilities
- Highly developed communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent computer literacy in Word, Excel, Outlook
- COVID vaccination (x 3 shots)
- National Police Check
- NDISWC
