**About the Role**

The ITSM Practice Specialist holds a multifaceted role, primarily focused on Incident Management expertise and coordination across various teams and third-party providers. You’ll manage incident response escalation, conduct post-incident reviews, and produce reports with recommendations to prevent recurring incidents. Collaborating closely with ITSM Leads, you’ll ensure quality assurance and contribute to improving Incident Management behaviours within the organisation. Additionally, you’ll oversee ICT Change management practices, providing advice, reviewing proposed changes, and coordinating CAB meetings for approval. With a focus on skill transfer and efficiency, you will assist in other ITSM practices within the Service Management Office as required, ensuring effective communication and documentation throughout all processes.

**About You**

As the ITSM Practice Specialist you will possess a comprehensive skill set essential for managing Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) practices across the organisation. You’ll demonstrate proficiency in incident management, change management, and service delivery processes, ensuring efficient resolution of IT incidents and seamless implementation of changes. Your expertise includes coordinating incident response efforts, conducting post-incident reviews, and implementing preventative measures to mitigate future risks. Additionally, you’ll excel in managing the change management process, liaising with stakeholders, assessing proposed changes, and facilitating Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings for approval. With strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you can identify areas for improvement in ITSM practices and provide guidance, training, and provide support to enhance service delivery efficiency and effectiveness.

**The Benefits**

You will be offered an excellent hourly rate on an initial contract through till 28 th June 2024 with the option of two 12-month extensions. The role has the option to work across multiple sites in Brisbane’s Northern Suburbs, Brisbane CBD or WFH and will be agreed with your reporting Manager.
