Sales & Customer Service Support Officer

Our client is a remarkably successful, progressive international logistics leader. With air and ocean freight forwarding services along with customs clearance and full 3PL capabilities, they are positioned to truly manage all of their clients' supply chain requirements inhouse.
An opportunity has arisen for a Sales & Customer Service Support Office to contribute as part of a team to provide expert knowledge, support and advice to the Customer Service and Sales Team. To provide updates on current market and industry changes that may impact on services, research and compose competitive quotes and regularly review and update tariffs
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Providing support to the sales and customer service team
- Provide quotations to customers and follow up to secure shipments using cargowise
- Update and Maintain rates
- Liaising with overseas offices on sales leads, opportunities, and requests for pricing
- Supporting the development of carrier and supplier relationships
- General administration duties
**To be considered for this position applicants must have**:
- Experience using Cargowise and Excel preferable
- Proven experience in sales support within global forwarding
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with an excellent telephone manner
- Permanent Resident of Australia
