BASScare is a Not for Profit organisation which operates an integrated program of services including meals-on-wheels, residential care facilities, respite care, dementia specific services, retirement living, as well as planned activity groups at day centres, for older people who wish to remain active and engaged with their local communities.
**Faversham House,** our Residential home located in Canterbury, is currently seeking an experienced Administration Assistant. This full-time, on-site role requires working in the office 5 days per week to effectively manage the customer interface and ensure smooth daily operations.
**About the role**:
The Administration Assistant will be responsible for administrative tasks related to the overall delivery of Faversham House. The role includes a range of general administrative duties for all team leaders within Faversham House.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Perform word processing and mailing of documents, including monthly client statements, reports, letters, and newsletters.
- Undertake reception duties as needed.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and in-house IT systems.
- Support the Faversham House Leadership Team with various tasks.
- Take minutes during meetings and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with filling staff rosters on Inerva as required.
- Cover the role of Rostering Coordinator during absences.
- Deliver high-quality customer service to clients, families, staff, and visitors.
- Answer telephone calls, make bookings, direct calls, and follow up on messages.
- Ensure consumer needs are attended to, resolved, or appropriately escalated and followed up.

**About You**:
- Certificate III in Business Administration.
- Experience working in a health, aged care, or Not-for-Profit environment.
- Proven experience in administrative duties.
- Ability to cover reception and rostering roles when needed.
- Strong prioritization skills and ability to meet deadlines with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Valid Police Check.
