Accounts Assistant

MAYDAY Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join an established business based in Canterbury.
Support the General Manager with Xero data entry and office administration tasks. This is an established organised who are looking for a go-getter to join their team, as this is a part time position you will ideally be based full time on site, rather than a mix of work from home - encouraging partnership within the business.

- Paying up to $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 + super (pro-rata)

**The role will involve**:
- XERO data entry processed accurately, efficiently and correctly
- Processing daily invoices in a timely and efficient manner
- Entering purchase orders
- Prepare weekly bank reconciliations
- Investigating debit balance accounts, duplicate invoices, and payments
- General Ledger reconciliations and general banking duties
- Assist the General Manager with EOM
- Adhoc requirements in order to satisfy business requirements
- Accounts assistant / payable / receivable experience
- XERO software experience
- High attention to detail with exceptional time management skills and a sense of urgency
- This role is stand alone, must be able to work autonomously
- Adaptability, being comfortable in an ever-changing environment
- Excellent communication and strong work ethic
