**What you'll do**
Working closely with the Portfolio Manager, you will bring years of experience in disaster recovery process design and delivery. Working closely with all IT groups across Woolworths, you are not the technical resource, you are the constructor of process excellence.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Continuity Manager to lead a small team of Service Continuity Analysts. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the resilience of our IT services and minimising the impact of disruptions, ensuring services are tested and influencing faster failover decisions. The Manager, Service Continuity role is part of the Service Continuity and Capacity Portfolio, Service Operations and Infrastructure Group.
The role is accountable for the delivery and operating effectiveness of Service Continuity Policies and Processes. Service Continuity is an important function in the IT Group. The role ensures all critical services recovery procedures are tested in accordance with policy. The team manages in excess of 500 failover tests / vendor service assessments per/annum. With this scope comes the responsibility of delivering excellence in stakeholder management, senior management communication. The role is closely tied with all Service Management / Risk Management processes.
**What will I bring?**
- Leadership experience in Service Continuity / Disaster Recovery Practices and processes
- Experience in a Service Management team delivering Service Continuity / Disaster Recovery testing outcomes
- Experience with risk assessment, business impact analysis, and recovery strategies
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Some experience leading teams would be highly desirable
