**About the role - Permanent full-time commencing January 2024**

The Practice Lead, Care Pathways is responsible for supporting the Leadership team and staff to deliver best practice methods and high standards of care to children and young people under the Guardianship and in Out of Home Care. As the Practice Lead, you will provide expert advice to our Care Pathways business unit regarding strategic and operational leadership to achieve relevant industry standards and high-quality service delivery.
- Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:_
- Provide practice oversight and facilitate practice development activities including workshops, training, individual and group supervision
- Develop and implement processes that support the Managers, Team Leaders, and House Coordinators to achieve successful matching of workers to children and young people
- Actively engage in continual quality improvement activities by providing feedback, responding to feedback, and embracing change
- Support the Senior Manager to risk manage, in the day-to-day operations and service delivery

**About you**:
As our Practice Lead, you will be an experienced and passionate individual who has a drive to improve systems and processes, while building strong internal and external relationships. Your focus is always on the welfare of the children and young people in our care and your goal is to ensure our staff deliver over and above expectations.
- You will also have the following skills and experience: _
- Relevant tertiary and/or post graduate qualifications and experience in the field of community services with an emphasis on experience in providing care to clients in residential and community settings
- Tertiary Qualification relevant to the work i.e., Bachelor of Social Work, Social Sciences, Counselling or Psychology is highly desirable
- 5 years’ experience in similar roles
- Experience in leading and guiding change, understanding change theory and change impact
- Policy development experience

You will be required to have, or be willing to obtain:

- Full unrestricted South Australia Driver’s Licence
- DHS Child-Related Employment Screening or Working With Children check
- National Police Clearance
- Training: Provide First Aid (HLTAID012)
- Training: Safe Environments for Children and Young People (Through Their Eyes)
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
