**About the Role**

As the Sales and Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Sales & Marketing team while adhering to the hotel and Hyatt International’s brand standards, ensuring an excellent and consistent level of service is provided to our customers at all times.

Working in a team of 8, you will support the Director of Sales and Marketing in the day to day operations as well as supporting the team to achieve our purpose.

This varied and dynamic role provides a chance to develop your Hospitality career within an international company; either in Australia or overseas.

**Some of the responsibilities include**:

- Provide administrative support to the Director of Sales and Marketing and the Sales & Marketing team
- Coordinate incoming calls for the team, manning the reservations phone line
- Assist in the planning, coordination and execution of Sales & Marketing events including corporate functions
- Maintain the Sales & Marketing data base, including accurate entering of data, updates, unsubscribes and new contacts
- Sales trips and tradeshow preparation and follow up
- Preparing sales kits
- Conducting hotel tours with clients as required

**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality / Sales & Marketing or related business education
- Previous experience in an administrative role (Hotel operations would be advantageous)
- A strong attention to detail, exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with well-developed computer skills particularly in the use of MS Office
- Ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of five-star grooming standards
