Oji Fibre Solutions, part of a rapidly expanding global manufacturer of innovative packaging solutions, requires a highly detail orientated, deadline driven Payroll Administrator to join our corporate HR/Payroll team, based from the Noble Park corrugated packaging plant in VIC. Our Packaging Australia sites across VIC, NSW and QLD manufacture corrugated cardboard boxes which play an important part in the presentation, protection, and transportation of our customer products in the Horticulture, Meat, Industrial, FMCG and Paper Products segments.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager (NZ based) and supported locally by a highly experienced Payroll Coordinator, you will be accountable for assisting with the preparation and payment of the weekly payrolls for all waged employees across the sites, as well as processing the salaried payroll on a monthly basis. Whilst this is your primary responsibility, you will also be required to prepare files on disbursements of superannuation and employee deductions, manage PAYG, Payroll Tax, STP2 processing, liaise with management teams to offer support and training when required and work closely with HR to ensure confidentiality and integrity of employee data is continuously upheld.

Critical to the success of this role will be your ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet strict deadlines, effectively communicate system errors or answer queries from the team leaders whilst ensuring 100% accuracy of data (no errors)

The successful applicant will have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role and possess advanced Excel skills with a thorough understanding of the Australian Payroll & Tax legislation. Detailed knowledge of Chris21 payroll system or similar would be highly advantageous.
