**About the role**

The Business Coordinator is a key role within the Office of the Executive Director, Shared Services & Customer Experience.

Shared Services & Customer Experience (SSCX) is focused on enhancing our customer experience by partnering in the delivery of value-added shared services and performance solutions.

As the Business Coordinator you will provide a range of administrative and support services to facilitate the delivery of business operations for the Office of the Executive Director and the Shared Services & Customer Experience branch.

**What you’ll do**

You will work as part of a small integrated team with a focus on allocations and workflow, providing business support to the Executive Director and Executive Officer. This includes:

- Allocate, track, and report on matters including following up and negotiating with functional leads for information and advice to enable timely delivery of matters, prioritising urgent matters accordingly.
- Monitor mailboxes for requests (regular and urgent) and matters for information, distributing/allocating to the relevant functional teams accordingly.
- Seek clarification on and, where necessary, escalate sensitive, contentious, and complex matters.
- Assist with the review of advice, information, and correspondence for the Executive Director and divisional requests across a broad range of issues.
- Support the Office of the Executive Director Team’s business needs, including records management and logístical/administrative support.
- Undertake adhoc tasks at the direction of the Executive Director and Executive Officer in response to business requirements, often in compressed timeframes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enable efficient business processes and improved customer and user experiences.

**About you**

We are looking for an individual with experience in workflow, allocations, or similar environment with an ability to take initiative, work with limited supervision, and escalate matters as required.

You are dynamic, with a can-do attitude and sense of fun, a team player with a real passion for customer service and developing relationships. You are autonomous and self-driven, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and value the ability to provide ongoing administration support whilst always striving to improve processes.

You will have an attention to detail with the ability to assess and prioritise work to ensure the business coordination function is carried out in a timely and efficient way.
