An exciting opportunity exists to become an Administration Officer for the Career Start Initiative in the South Eastern Region.

**Project Support Officer| VPS3| Full Time| Fixed Term (till 31 December 2025)**

As the administrative support for the SEVR Career Start Initiative, you will play a key role in the day-to-day function of this important program. The role will include a range of administrative and coordination tasks, including data entry and collation to support the tracking and management of the Initiative within and across Areas. The role will also support professional learning events, including monitoring registrations, venue and catering communication, logistics and front-of-house support at termly professional learning forums for graduate teachers and their mentors. The role will support the Career Start Regional Manager in communicating with the Career Start Regional team, including scheduling of meetings, room bookings and acting as secretariat. The Career Start administrative support role sits within the School Performance Division of SEVR, under the leadership of the Professional Practice Branch. This role demands flexibility and the ability to work in a highly collaborative and supportive way with other staff across the region. The Administration Officer will demonstrate discretion, integrity and initiative in the performance of their duties, which include:

- Records management, including administration of divisional Sharepoint sites.
- Procurement, including hospitality, travel, office supplies and general invoice processing.
- General administration support such as meeting and event coordination.
- Program administration support.
- Supporting Area administrative staff where required.
