**Introduction**
Our Business Automation Pre-Sales Specialists collaborate with Sales teams to identify and kickstart Management and AIOps opportunities and drive revenue. Specialists engage with customers to understand their business and technical requirements for Business Automation.
The roles primary focus is to define solutions that help customers experience the value from Cloud Pak for Automation sales efforts by building demonstrations and proof of concepts (POCs) that EXCEED expectations. These specialists make joint or independent sales calls on customers, IBM sales teams and/or IBM Business Partners identifying and progressing opportunities.

- Contribute to the development of qualified opportunities with the IBM Sales teams
- Support the Business Partner ecosystem
- Build an understanding of the Business Automation competitive landscape
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as working independently when required.

- You’ve approximately 2 years of relevant commercial experience since graduating with
your IT/Technology degree

- Knowledge and experience on Kubernetes/Openshift (ideally)
- Cloud & Virtualisation - AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, VMWare, etc.
- Knowledge of operating systems is desirable (Windows, Linux, and UNIX platforms ideally)
- Experience with SQL, Javascript or XML programming, Python, or R is desirable
