Amid a high growth phase, our Risk and Compliance team are building upon our current capabilities and have created the new and exciting role of Governance and Supplier Manager (GSM). The GSM will work collaboratively with the Chief Risk and Governance Officer (CRGO) to ensure exemplary governance practices are maintained in managing the board administration, policy governance, and whistleblowing confidentiality. The GSM will also take ownership of supplier management, managing arrangements with third parties and creating a framework to ensure that the governance associated with suppliers is maintained at the highest level across the business.

The GSM will be joining a newly formed Risk and Compliance team of 6 (including this role) with many exciting projects in the pipeline including the establishment of the 3 lines of defence model, which makes them a very busy team. There is a lot of opportunities for development as the business grows.

**Key Accountabilities of the GSM role will include**:

- Policy management including maintaining the policy register, updates and reviews and controls mapping in the enterprise risk management (ERM) system.
- Governance policy management, ensuring all governance policies are accurate and current
- Build a supplier management framework
- Work with business owners to procure new suppliers and ensure any risks associated with the arrangement and known, considered and appropriately managed.
- Board administration duties including assistance with board reporting, skills matrix, performance reviews and maintenance of legal registers and filing.
- Proactively lead our environmental and social initiatives
- Work collaboratively with the CRGO and Risk and Compliance team on projects and initiatives.

**What you will bring to the position**:

- 3+ years experience in either Risk Management and Compliance Management or Company Secretarial skills
- Bachelor degree in Risk, Finance, Legal, Economics or Commerce preferred.
- 1-3yrs experience dealing with platforms, insurance and investments preferred.
- Experience, with supplier management, or procurement highly regarded.
- Excellent grammar and attention to detail.
- Excellent priority management and organisational skills, including able to manage many different open tasks concurrently.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including proven experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
- A passion for environmental and social issues as they impact businesses.
- Quick learner eager for broad and challenging role.
