6 months + contract opportunity through to the new year with longer term prospects in a corporate and supportive work environment. The main responsibilities for this role include coordinating property leases, licences, joint use agreements.
**Job Details**
Working in a busy property department with the support of an experienced team, key duties will include:
- managing a portfolio of diverse assets
- negotiating, interpreting and managing new leases, licences, joint use agreements and renewals
- general project work
- acquisitions and disposals (with assistance)
- preparation of written reports and recommendations
**Skills and Experience**
You will need to demonstrate a sound understanding of general commercial property management and an understanding of commercial leases.
To be successful for this role you will need:
- A current Working with Children Check, National Police clearance
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills and skilled at building external and internal working relationships
- High level ability to investigate, analyse and evaluate problems
- Able to effectively provide advice to executives and senior officers
- To be available for immediate start (or with a week or two's notice)
- Experience in state or local government is an advantage
