**The Opportunity**:
The Regional Maintenance Coordinator oversees and coordinates maintenance activities across a multi-site property portfolio in a specific region. You will drive quality standards, service level agreements, and compliance and promote and adhere to safety practices.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Lead a team of 10 maintenance officers. Inspire and develop their knowledge, elevate quality practices and timely delivery of work and create a cohesive and collaborative environment.
- Collaborate with key managers, maintenance staff and vendors to address maintenance needs, prioritise repairs and improvements and implement preventative maintenance programs.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess maintenance needs, identify issues, and ensure compliance.
- Successfully develop maintenance plans and schedules and prioritise, schedule, and assist in completing repairs, maintenance projects and renovations.
- Identify, procure, and manage vendors in line with performance and quality standards and conduct regular reviews around SLAs.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimise breakdowns, extend asset life and reduce maintenance costs.
- Analyse maintenance data through CMMS and asset management systems to identify opportunities for improvement and improve preventative maintenance programmes, maintenance officers' productivity and asset performance.
**Your Skillsets and Attributes**:
- You will possess technical or vocational training in a trade, maintenance, facilities management, or construction field and have proven experience in a similar, multi-portfolio opening.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, building systems and equipment.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
- Strong project management skills to oversee and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certifications or training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing or building automation systems is highly desirable, coupled with sustainability practices and energy efficiency initiatives.
- An excellent IT and administrative skillset, including familiarity with software technology tools such as CMMS or Asset management systems.
