Are you a recent HR graduate eager to make your mark in a supportive and impactful environment? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience and grow your HR skills as a Human Resources Coordinator at The Salvation Army’s Aged Care team.

About the Role

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you'll be an essential part of our HR team, supporting our Aged Care division. This role is designed for someone who is enthusiastic about learning and developing their HR career. You will work closely with our experienced HR Business Partners, contributing to a variety of HR activities while gaining valuable insights into the aged care sector.

What You'll Do:

- Support HR Operations: Assist Aged Care managers with HR administration, compliance, and employee relations.
- HRIS Management: Provide coaching and advice on Salvos Workday, our HR information system, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with HR Business Partners, managers, and employees to deliver consistent and effective HR support.
- Reporting and Analytics: Produce regular reports on key HR metrics to help drive informed decisions.
- Employee Engagement: Conduct monthly exit interviews, coordinate training sessions, and facilitate the development of consultative teams at our centres.
- First Point of Contact: Be the go-to person for managers on Workday or any HR-related matters, assisting with induction, orientation, and probation arrangements.
- Continuous Improvement: Support various HR and Talent Team initiatives aimed at enhancing our processes and service delivery.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is not only proactive and motivated but also ready to embrace the challenges and rewards of a career in HR.
- Qualifications: A degree or diploma in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Tech-Savvy: A strong understanding of HR software systems, with experience in Workday being a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Team Player: Collaborative and eager to learn from experienced HR professionals.
